AgSafe Alberta will be delivering a farm safety management workshop at the Beef Industry Conference on February 21 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM as part of the seminar series offered at the conference. AgSafe Alberta will be providing a farm safety management presentation including topics - incorporating safety into your overall risk management strategy, hazard assessment, emergency response planning. The Gateway Research Organization will be sharing alternate energy information on solar and wind power and one of the local accountants is going to discuss the changes in the farm tax program.
AgSafe Alberta will be providing a presentation at the ASBG AGM in Lethbridge on February 14th. Presentation topics will include an update to AgSafe Alberta, farm safety management planning, hazard assessment and AgSafe Alberta tools & resources available to producers. We will also have our display at the AGM to share resources with producers and talk about producer strategies to incorporate safety into their every day operations.
The Carstairs Ag Society is hosting a Women's Calving Clinic evening event at the Crossfield Hall in Crossfield Alberta. AgSafe Alberta will be one of the presenters at the event and will provide farm safety management resources. A couple of vets will also be providing presentations on newborn calf management, zoonotic diseases and more.
Together We're Better Feeder Association of Alberta Limited AGM and annual convention will be held at the Sheraton in Red Deer. AgSafe Alberta will have a display in the trade fair. Beaver County is hosting 2 farm safety management seminars on January 23. The morning/lunch session will be held at the Viking Carena Meeting Room 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
The second session will take place at the Tofield Arena Meeting Room from 6 pm to 9:00 pm and supper will be provided.

AgSafe Alberta Advisor Dan Trottier, will be providing a farm safety workshop to members of the Alberta Seed Processors at their annual general meeting. Topics covered will include hazard assessment, emergency response planning, working alone and confined space.
