As seeding draws nearer for many farmers in the province, new workers may be coming onto the farm to help during the busy season. Having orientation information ready for new workers, or even as a refresher for returning workers, can help ensure everyone's safety for #plant20.

Farm owners’ and managers’ responsibilities extend to the health and safety of everyone who works on the farm – full-time, part-time, casual employees, and this can also include contractors and their employees.

It's important to make sure that temporary or seasonal workers share an understanding of common hazards and how they will be made safe while working on your farm.
